Dr. Rasmussen is Of Counsel to the firm and a registered patent attorney, specializing in the fields of medical devices and biotechnology, with an academic background in cell biology, biochemistry, endocrinology, genetics, histology, and molecular biology. Throughout his extensive academic career, Dr. Rasmussen received numerous accolades, including being named an Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research Scholar and Medical Research Council of Canada Scholar. In addition to actively practicing as an intellectual property attorney, Dr. Rasmussen is an Adjunct Professor, currently teaching legal and intellectual property courses at the University of La Verne College of Law in Ontario, CA.

Prior to joining MH2 Technology Law Group LLP, Dr. Rasmussen was a Patent Agent and Scientific Advisor at McDermott Will & Emery LLP, and then owned and operated his own intellectual property firm.
