Erin DeCarlo is a registered patent attorney with particular expertise in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology arts. Ms. DeCarlo has extensive experience in all aspects of patent law, including both domestic and foreign patent preparation and prosecution; due diligence investigations; patentability, validity, and infringement opinions; strategic patent portfolio development; and pre-litigation analyses. Her specific subject matter experience includes cosmetics; food products; pharmaceuticals, including novel crystalline forms; paper products; and ceramics, as well as molecular biology and biotherapeutics.

Prior to joining MH2 Technology Law Group, LLP, Ms. DeCarlo was an attorney with the law firm of Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP, and later the law firm of O’Brien Jones, PLLC.

Before becoming an attorney, Ms. DeCarlo worked as a research technician for Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital, where she assisted with neurochemical research.
