Gigette Bejin’s dedication to helping innovators is the basis of her 20+ year career. From practicing law in both the role of in-house counsel and the role of outside counsel, Gigette understands the importance of exceeding a client’s expectations while staying within the client’s budgetary requirements. Gigette has experience in all aspects of patent law, including U.S. patent preparation and prosecution; foreign prosecution; patentability, validity, noninfringement and infringement opinions; patent portfolio management; development of in-house IP programs for clients; client counseling, advanced development agreements; licensing agreements; M&A transactions; supply chain patent issues; third party threats and patent litigation. Gigette has drafted and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications as well as routinely supervised U.S. and foreign patent application prosecution. She has extensive experience serving clients in the automotive industry focusing on mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical inventions.

In addition to previously serving as in-house counsel at Ford Motor Company and General Motors, Gigette has spent over a decade of her career in private practice.
