Ms. Shestul focuses her practice on preparing and prosecuting patent applications in a multitude of technological areas, including: electrical, electronics, computer software, computer networking, virtual and augmented realities (AR/VR), videogame technologies, artificial intelligence and machine learning, medical and optical devices, memory devices, telecommunications, semiconductor devices, flat panel displays, virtual machines/processors, fiber optics, lithography process, image recognition devices, and mechanical devices.

Her patent experience includes a mix of application drafting, office actions, interviews, appeals and Inter-Partes Review petitions. She has experience rendering opinions regarding the invalidity and non-infringement of patents in various technological areas. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced intellectual property law at several law firms in Northern California, Colorado, and Northern Virginia.
