Sajid R. Ansari is a Patent Agent with years of extensive experience in practical engineering, project management, patent application preparation, and patent application prosecution. Mr. Ansari has prepared and prosecuted patent applications in a wide variety of technical fields, ranging from data and signal processing, wireless/cellular and computer network technologies, cryptography, cyber security, mobile applications, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, sensor data analysis, computer cooling systems, consumer electronics, and hardware. Mr. Ansari’s experience spans across the patent prosecution spectrum, ranging from the preparation of new patent application specifications and drawings, to the prosecution of the those applications through allowance, including preparing responses to Office Actions, appeal briefs, and reply briefs, including the preparation of prevailing arguments in view of recent case law related to §101 Alice issues.
Prior to joining MH2, Mr. Ansari supported large patent preparation and prosecution dockets for numerous high-profile clients represented by various patent boutique firms in the Washington D.C. Metro area. Further, Mr. Ansari served as a Patent Examiner at the USPTO where he examined patent applications in the fields of closure fasteners, locks, shape-memory alloys, and other various mechanical systems.
Prior to starting his Intellectual Property career, Mr. Ansari worked as a project and systems engineer as a contractor the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) where he supported acquisition and engineering efforts for several FAA weather systems and wind shear detection systems. In this role, Mr. Ansari earned his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification to improve the management of complex projects. Mr. Ansari also supported FAA air traffic management programs as a systems and quality engineer for Lockheed Martin where he also earned his Greenbelt certification for process improvement.
