Patent Attorney Dr. Blair Taylor Joins MH2

We are proud to announce the Dr. Blair Taylor has joined MH2. Blair has over 20 years of scientific, legal, and business experience to guide clients through the creation and enforcement of intellectual property strategic action plans. Having served as in-house counsel, she understands the importance of being a trusted advisor to senior management at both large and small entities. Her patent law experience of counseling, prosecution, and litigation of intellectual property holdings spans a diverse range of subject matter, including small molecule pharmaceutics, large molecule biologics, medical devices, fine chemicals, trademarks, trade secrets, and geographical indications.

Prior to joining MH2, Dr. Taylor served as Head of Intellectual Property and Acting General Counsel for Accelerate Diagnostics, Inc., a publicly traded, multinational medical device start-up company, whose technologies focus on machine learning to achieve microorganism identification and antibiotic susceptibility profiles to combat sepsis. Before that, she was the Head of Intellectual Property for Roche Tissue Diagnostics, where Dr. Taylor led a team of intellectual property attorneys who directed global portfolios concerning FDA-regulated cancer diagnostic products. Prior to serving as in-house counsel, Dr. Taylor was an intellectual property litigator with Covington & Burling LLP and Venable LLP. She transitioned into litigation after completing her clerkship with Judge Randall R. Rader at the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Dr. Taylor began her legal career in patent prosecution with Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, during which time she spent two summers living in Delft, The Netherlands, embedded with a firm client handling prosecution before the European Patent Office.
