Marcus Dawes is a registered patent attorney with a background in physics. Marcus has dedicated his professional career to creating and maintaining IP portfolios for a variety of clients ranging from multi-national corporations to small business start-ups and universities. For nearly two decades, Marcus has prepared and prosecuted patent and trademark applications in a variety of subject matters including consumer products, manufacturing processes, complex medical diagnostic testing, and medical devices. Prior to becoming a patent attorney, Marcus interned for a European patent firm and has extensive experience in prosecuting both international and national phase filings.

Marcus’ comprehensive experience in patent and trademark prosecution includes drafting new applications, managing domestic and international filings, appeals, and strategizing with clients to provide goal specific results. In addition to serving as Of Counsel at MH2 Technology Law Group LLP, Marcus is currently a co-founder and member of Dawes Patent Law Group.
