Patent Attorney Dr. James Boyle Joins MH2
We are proud to announce that Dr. James Boyle has joined MH2 as Of Counsel. Dr. Boyle’s practice focuses on all aspects of patent protection, including licensing, opinions, and patent prosecution. For over twenty years, Dr. Boyle has prepared and prosecuted patents related to complex electrical, chemical, software, and physics-based technology and processes. He has particular expertise in patenting inventions related to software, artificial intelligence, and quantum-based processes. Prior to his work as a patent attorney, Dr. Boyle earned a Ph.D. in physics and served as a research physicist for over seven years, elucidating the dynamics of laser/atom interactions and processes. In addition, prior to entering law school, Dr. Boyle was an associate editor on the staff of the American Heritage Dictionary.
As a patent attorney for over twenty years, Dr. Boyle has extensive litigation experience in Federal District Courts and in other forums, including experience before the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multi-district Litigation, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and he has successfully defended multiple patents before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).
