Manuel Cordovez is Of Counsel to the firm and has over a decade of experience in all areas of intellectual property law, concentrating on U.S. and international patent law. Mr. Cordovez has managed and prosecuted a large number of U.S. patent applications from conception to allowance or appeal, and has supervised the prosecution of their foreign counterparts worldwide. Mr. Cordovez also has extensive experience drafting and prosecuting domestic and international design patent applications. In addition, Mr. Cordovez also counsels clients on intellectual property matters, including infringement, patentability, and right-to-use analyses, advice regarding international patent portfolios and strategies, including establishing new IP programs, and drafting, reviewing, and negotiating IP-related agreements. His technical areas of experience include chemical compositions and processes, mechanical inventions, metallurgical products and technologies, consumer products and compositions, and semiconductor fabrication and production.
